Location: LSI is to the north of Toronto, close to the Casa Loma, Queen’s Park and the University of Toronto. It rests just on the outskirts of the Summerhill neighbourhood. The school is situated on a central road within the neighbourhood, where the shops, cafes and restaurants are localised.

Public transportation: The closest subway station to LSI is Rosedale. Line 1 runs through this station and reaches the centre of Toronto in 15 minutes. The school is a quarter an hour walk from the Bay Metro, which is a station on Line 2. There are bus routes all around the school that reach the areas outside the scope of the metro.

Main features in Toronto: The Royal Ontario Museum and Casa Loma are walkable from the school. The rest of the features of Toronto are reachable by the public transportation system throughout the city.

Course structure: Exam preparation courses are available at LSI in Toronto for the TOEFL, TOEIC, IELTS and Cambridge Exams. There are a range of options for students wanting to take general English courses. They can choose from a group morning class, afternoon lesson, private course and a combination of both group and individual lessons.

40+ Programme: There are courses designed specifically for students over the age of 40. The classes will take place with a mixed group with other ages. There will be a number of activities after class and this will be solely designed for this programme.

School facilities: The school has a lunch room, student lounge and student computers to socialise with other students or self study after the lessons. There is a coffee machine, microwave and fridge for students to use during their breaks.

Chain school: As a group, Language Studies International (LSI) has schools located in 7 countries throughout the world. These countries include France, the USA, England, New Zealand, Switzerland and Canada.

For over 55 years, LSI has been supplying tuition to adults, juniors and teachers. Their schools are accredited internationally by such accreditors as EAQUALS, Accet, the British Council, English New Zealand, Languages Canada, and more.

The teacher was excellent. She made me enjoy learning English. The group, although they had many young people, were all committed to learning.
Insider tip: I did not stay in homestay. Most of the students complained a lot about this type of hosting. I suggest to anyone who can, stay in hotel or airbnb.

The activities after the classes were without any doubt the best.
Insider tip: Take an unmbrella if you chose Toronto as your study destination. The weather is really unpredictable,one day is raining and the next day the sun is shinning.

Other comments Toronto is a nice city. But with my stay there, I recommend everybody chosing Quebec or Montreal, the nigthclubs are amazing there.
