This was the fourth Spanish language school I enrolled in, in the past year. It was BY FAR, the best learning experience. While no workbooks are given out (or to buy), the worksheets were highly personalized to the group as well as individual needs. My teacher, Laura, was excellent: motivating, able to present content in a way that was fun, succinct (clearly expressed) and pertinent (relevant). I was placed in the correct level and improved a lot during my two weeks of classes. School extracurricular activities were outstanding, varied and very well attended. Rating this school as the best of the four language schools I’ve attended in Andalusia. Highly recommend, it gets an A+ from me.
Disliked
Nothing that can be easily fixed, it’s an architectural issue. Classrooms are a bit small, and not all of them have windows to ensure adequate ventilation. The classroom for my class was the one with the best ventilation. A few students in the school were clearly sick, yet they were not obligated to wear a mask. They were in the smaller classrooms. Sadly, as a result, a few other students fell ill within a few days of the same/similar virus. :( Yes, we are all still adjusting and learning to live with the COVID virus that is still around. I’d suggest that students take responsibility for their health and use whatever tools they can to reduce the spread of the virus.
Insider tip: Granité coffee and tea shop is a few meters from the school. Good rebates for students.

The location is excellent and during the break I could get coffee and sandwiches nearby. Anyway, the place is fine. I also really like the times: not too early (10 a.m.) so that I could make it a little later in the evening. In the afternoon the class stopped at 1.30 pm and that gave enough time to do everything.

From the very first day, the orientation was well organized, and the staff were all friendly and welcoming. This immediately put me at ease. The teachers were passionate about the language, and they provided a great deal of encouragement and support throughout my time there.
Disliked
The only minor issue was that the content and curriculum for the private lessons was not much clear. I also didn't have the same teacher for my private lessons.

The diversity of the students. There was no senior course, so I was in a mixed group in terms of age. If you are not a beginner, the international exchange is interesting. The location was perfect, in the old Arab quarter of Albaicin in Granada.
Disliked
If you like formal, then it is not recommended. The school seems a bit messy (desordenada), but that is also its charm. For older beginners, a senior course might be more convenient because of the pace of the lessons.

My teacher, Mikaela, was fantastic, excellent. The first week there were three of us (two German guys and me) in the class. We learned loads, had fun and the classes were varied and well structured, never bored.

Sometimes, classes too big. Six should be the maximum as we can't hear properly when in our working groups.

Generally a very good school, high quality classes, very friendly teachers and the environment is chill and not too strict. And the activities every day are great!
Disliked
Some kind of common room is missing, in the breaks it would be nice to be inside the school for grabbing a coffee, if you have your breaks 5 min after everyone else its difficult sometimes to socialize if people already went away for coffee. I had my exam in a room where people had to go back and fourth into, which annoyed me a little and I could hear the noise, but besides that everything was made nice and comfortable for me for the exam and I got brought a coffee and got very good instructions to how the exam was gonna be

Maria was a really good teacher as she looked out to talk slow and understandable, there was enough repetition and the tasks were at the right difficulty.
Disliked
Just a small dislike, the tapas evening was not organized perfectly, since we thought this was a trip through different tapas bars and that there would not just be one serving of tapas (and that with meat). At the end the people who were sitting the longest had to take over the leftover drinks, this could be handled more cleverly.

Quality of teaching / language progress: For a longer stay > 2 weeks, I found the pace of learning relatively fast. I needed practice time in the afternoon to consolidate the material. Most of the participants were there for 1-2 weeks, which is fine.

I think the class formation / level placement might not have been optimal. For the private class, I would have liked a bit more content (e.g. I wanted to focus on conversation, perhaps some useful phrases, some homework or more focus on my talking)
