An ancient port city, situated on Sicily's eastern coast, at the foot of the active volcano Mt. Etna, Catania offers a unique base for learning Italian, with Centro Studi Italiano Federico II very well situated to assist students in succeeding with their language goals. The school is within a 30-minute walk of attractions such as the Cathedral of Saint Agatha, Castello Ursino, Elephant Fountain and Chiosco Bellini-Villa Bellini. “I really liked everything about the school. The teachers are all great, the groups are small, so there is individualised support and great supervision. The material is tailored to each individual and the atmosphere in the whole school is great. In the afternoons, cultural activities are organised with all the students and you often go out to eat in traditional Sicilian restaurants, where you get to know each other better and can improve your Italian. This is my second time at the language school and I would never want to leave.”
