Location: Riviera French Institute is in the north of Cannes, on the outskirts of the inner ring of the city. It is on a central road within the city with commercial restaurants and cafes lining the street.
Getting around: The centre of the city is around 5-10 minutes by foot from the school, making it easy to walk around. The Cannes Central Train Station is 3 minutes from the entrance of Riviera French Institute. Services from here run throughout Cannes as well as to larger cities in France. There are numerous bus stops near the school for intercity connections.
Course structure: The school has general French courses for those who want to learn the standard use of the language. There is a University Pathway Programme to help students learn more about how to use French in this setting. Riviera French Institute’s business course focuses on communication in the workplace. Cultural packages are available for gastronomy and wine tasting.
Junior Courses: Riviera French Institute holds various programmes throughout the summer months for young learners. These can be booked as a day camp or include accommodation and a weekly programme of activities. Students can opt to include a specific activity in their activity programme such as sailing.

Special note for 2025 holiday season: If you plan to take a course during the high season months of April, June, July or August 2025 we urgently advise you to book as early as possible. In 2024 many schools were fully booked during the holidays and the situation is unlikely to be different for 2025 due to a current shortage of teachers, which affects most schools.
