Location: Blue Butterfly Šibenik is a junior language programme that takes place during the summer months in the Croatian city of Sibenik. This summer school is housed in the unique location of the historical fortress of St. Ivan (St. John's), an early modern fortress dating back to 1646 which is now used for these summer camps amongst other functions.
Course selection: These junior summer camps are immersive, including English tuition from an exceptional and unique location, accommodation (full board), activities, excursions and workshops.
Getting around: The closest international airport to Šibenik is Split Airport, around 1 hour from the school via taxi. The Franjo Tuđman International Airport in Zagreb is around a 6-hour journey via public transport from the school, or a 3-hour taxi. Transport services are available from the school at an additional cost.
School facilities: The school facilities include modern and new classrooms, lounge areas for socialising, and more.
Social and cultural: These junior programmes include an array of social and cultural activities with the outlay of engaging students with their international peers while enjoying themselves and communicating in English. Activities can include art workshops, activities such as yoga, swimming, sports, dance, quizzes, movie night and many more.
Excursions can include trips to such locations as the Krka National Park.
Accommodation: Full board accommodation is offered on-site, with 24-hour supervision and security and all meals are included in the programme price.

Special note for 2025 holiday season: If you plan to take a course during the high season months of April, June, July or August 2025 we urgently advise you to book as early as possible. In 2024 many schools were fully booked during the holidays and the situation is unlikely to be different for 2025 due to a current shortage of teachers, which affects most schools.
