Location: Atlas Language School Junior Centre Chichester is a junior summer centre located in the historic town of Chichester, in Sussex, England. The school is housed within the University of Chichester, around a 15-minute walk from the historic town centre, with several amenities, eateries, and sites and places of social and cultural interest close by. The school is around a 90-minute journey from London Gatwick via public transport.
Course selection: These junior programmes are available to students from the age of ten, during the summer months. The programme is inclusive of English language tuition, accommodation (residence, full board), afternoon and evening activities, half-day excursions and full-day excursions.
Social and cultural: These programmes are full of social and cultural activities where junior students get to use their English whilst interacting and getting to know their international peers.
This programme includes nine hours of sports or performing art per week and 12 hours of evening activities.
Excursions can include day trips to Brighton, London, and Winchester.
Accommodation: Accommodation is given in residence, with several room types available on a first-come-first-served basis. Room types include single (en-suite), single (shared bathroom), and twin (shared bathroom).
All accommodation is full board with three meals given from the school's canteen daily (breakfast, hot lunch, hot dinner). Packed lunches are supplied on days with excursions.

In 2024 many schools were fully booked during the holidays, and the situation is unlikely to be different for 2025 due to a current shortage of teachers, which affects most schools.

Visa Documents
Nationals from USA do not require a visa to study short term courses up to 180 days. A valid passport and an ETA (Electronic Travel Authorization) is required to enter the UK. The application for the ETA is done online https://www.gov.uk/guidance/apply-for-an-electronic-travel-authorisation-eta. The answer is expected within 3 working days, costing GBP 10. The ETA allows multiple entries in the country for up to 6 months for a maximum of 2 years or until the passport used when applying expires.
