Italian Language Schools in Tuscany, Italy


Florence
Tuscany is a region in Italy, to the North West of the country. It splits its coastline between the Ligurian Sea and the Tyrrhenian Sea. Florence, Tuscany's capital city, has spectacular monuments including the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, the Uffizi Gallery and the Ponte Vecchio. To the West of the capital city is the smaller city of Pisa which is famous for its landmark, Leaning Tower of Pisa. The region has very fertile land, particularly around the mountainous area of Chianti, which has excellent vineyards and olive groves. The region also includes the small island of Elba, which has fantastic beaches.
