Location: Florence is full of history and art, with a network of streets filled with traditional and tasty restaurants and bakeries, wineries for watching the world go by and boutiques with the latest fashions. Italianme can be found within this labyrinth, very close to the St Trinity bridge which shares its reflection with the famous Vecchino Bridge. Avoid looking at photos before your visit and be truly blown away by the magnificent sight of The Basilica di Santa Maria, in the centre of the city, just a 9-minute walk from the school.

Local attractions: Everything of interest in Florence is accessible by foot and you will not be disappointed by the little hidden gems you find along the way. A great adventure on the other side of the bridge is to visit the Piazzale Michelangelo square, where the bronze cast of David is located. Enjoy a panoramic view of Florence during a picturesque sunset over this truly wonderful city.

Course structure: The interest of the Italian culture is truly absorbed in Italianme's courses, with a vast array of cultural courses attached to general Italian language lessons in areas such as literature, history of art, music and theatre, opera singers and, of course, food and wine.

Accreditations: Italianme was founded over 5 years ago and already has a number of recognitions and collaborations to its name including the authorisation for the CILS exams at the University for Foreigners of Siena.

School facilities: The school has a number of great facilities including a coffee corner, free wifi, and air conditioning to help create the perfect environment for learning. This is an excellent choice to get to grips with the 4th most studied language in the world.

The focus for A2 was on grammar, which helped clear up some of our confusion. The instructors were very attentive and flexible with the needs of the class. Our class mostly followed the textbook. We had 6 to 7 students in our class. Student ages ranged from 20's to 60's. We liked the small class size and that the room was filled with adults. I was talking more by the end of the course. We recommend this school for its focus on learning, not for entertainment.
Disliked
The activities offered were minimal: There were some seminars related to Italian culture, one short tour, and a pizza night. Being a student for 5 hours a day, plus homework was exhausting. The school didn't provide an introduction to Florence.

Very friendly and competent staff, who always try their best to find the best learning situation for you. Location is very central and beautiful, as well as the terrace. Rooms and equipment are modern and nice. The afternoon activities (currently because of Covid/off-season twice a week) are great for language skills and also knowledgeable in art & history. I thoroughly recommend this school!

The location of the school is amazing: in an old medieval tower next to the river with a terrace with one of the best views of the city. There is also a working room and coffee place. Everything inside is very modern and design.

Quality of teaching / language progress: The teacher, in addition to their Italian language knowledge, mastered pedagogic skills. In addition she had great human skills and made the course interesting and fun. Modern teaching tools where used. All the notes on her tablet were displayed on the big screen. At the end of every day we received a pdf file with the complete set of notes and exercises on our email account. Great course and great experience!

Everything was wonderful. All the teachers and other staff were super nice. The organisation was exemplary and the teachers made the lessons a pleasure. Thank you very much for everything.

My missing 5th star: it would be nice if there were more leisure activities in the afternoon or evening. For example, an organised aperitif, an input event, e.g. on history, lifestyle, etc., Italian cooking, Italian songs. These are organised in other schools and are great fun and you get to know people.
