Location: English Encounters Inc. is located in the beautiful Canadian city of Burlington, nestled between Niagara Falls and Toronto, along the edge of Lake Ontario. The school is housed downtown, within walking distance of the lake, Smith Spencer Park and the expansive promenade. Surrounding the school there are many eateries, cafés, shopping malls and bars, ensuring students have a lively time whilst studying in Burlington.

School facilities: The facilities of English Encounters are excellent, offering students all they need to achieve their language goals, in a motivated and friendly environment. Facilities include a computer lab, full kitchen facilities including fridge and microwave use, free WIFI and free coffee. All classrooms are equipped with televisions, air conditioning and heating, with most classrooms having ample natural light to create the optimal working environment.

Course selection: Course selection at the school is extensive, with something available for students of all levels. General English courses are very popular as well as several Exam Preparation programmes for students and teachers (TOEFL, TOIEC, IELTS, CELPIP) and Business courses. Private lessons are available in conjunction with any other programme or independently.

Social and Cultural: English Encounters Inc. is happy to assist in arranging excursions to places such as Ottawa, Montreal, Quebec City, New York or anywhere a student wishes! They also have several, more local, school trips available to Niagara Falls, Outlet Shopping, The CN Tower, nature parks, museums and more, all of which are accompanied by a teacher and at very reasonable rates!

Insider tip: Ask questions about the food when you pay for that. I stayed in a bed and breakfast and I have had a very bad experience. So be careful!
