Cultura Italiana is located in the beautiful and charismatic medieval city of Bologna, in the northern Emilia Romagna region of Italy. The school is housed in a medieval building in the very centre of the city, with everything a student needs in terms of shops, supermarkets, cafés and restaurants within minutes of its front doors. A city with a rich cultural history, Bologna offers excellent cuisine, osterie, theatre and musical productions, concerts and a great nightlife.

The school boasts a varied selection of courses ranging from General Italian classes taught in groups to Private lessons, Italian for Business and CILS Exam preparation course. Courses are available for students from a complete beginners level to proficiency, meaning there is something for everyone!

Cultura Italiana likes to engage students in a realistic focus on Italian through lifestyle and culture whilst studying at the school. They have a varied activity and social programme throughout the year, offering students the opportunity to participate in walks, visits and meetings, as well as in local art and history. The goal of the activity programme is so students can engage in Italian language and culture on a local level as opposed to that of a tourist.

All teachers at Cultura Italiana Bologna have at least 5 years of teaching experience and are happy to advise students with anything they may need in terms of information about the city, accommodation, health, cultural programmes, entertainment and more.

Other comments I think I said everything at the beginning. In any case, the school is highly recommended. But it is not quite true that mainly older people attend this school. There were a lot of young people there. But I found the mixture of generations and nationalities very good.
