Location: CPI Spanish School Monteverde is located in the biodiverse and stunning Monteverde, in northeastern Costa Rica. A mountainous region at 5,000 feet above sea level, the area is renowned for its outstanding nature and is famous for the Monteverde Cloud Forest Biological Preserve, which boasts many outstanding natural qualities.
The school is housed in gate-secured grounds with incredible views of the surrounding forests. The immersive experience of the school ensures that students have all they may require on-site, including modern and well-equipped classrooms, common social areas and an expansive garden space with tropical plants.
Course selection: The CPI Spanish School group supplies an array of Spanish courses throughout their schools, with something suitable to students of all levels and various necessities. In addition to Essential General Spanish programmes the school supplies several courses for specific learning such as Medical Spanish, DELE Exam Preparation, a Public Safety Spanish course, Business Spanish, a Social Work programme, a Retirement Travel programme and Pura Vida programme where students may learn at a relaxed pace for 10 hours per week and enjoy the local attractions and sites accordingly.
Social and cultural: The school understands the importance of the surrounding areas and the enchantment of the diverse forests surrounding the school and embraces this through various excursions and weekend trips. Such trips can include the Rincon de la Vieja Volcano National Park, the Guanacaste Beaches, the Manuel Antonio National Park on the Pacific Coast and the Arenal Volcano.

Comments about courses
The transfers can be done in multiple ways:
- Semi-private shuttle (most popular): the school arranges a semi-private shuttle and will take the student to the pickup spot. Afterwards the shuttle will drop the student in the next location. Cost USD 65 per transfer
- Private shuttle: the school arranges a private shuttle that will pick the student anywhere and anytime, which costs around USD 230 per transfer.
Individual classes
Single individual lessons of tuition can be reserved at 30.6 US$. The combination of group and individual lessons is highly recommended. Individual lessons will encourage you to actively speak the foreign language and will offer you the opportunity to discuss individual problems and weaknesses.
