What our students said about Zaragoza

It is a large city on the scale of Frankfurt am Main with all the advantages and disadvantages of such a large city. Public transport in the city is well developed, but for trips into the surrounding countryside (Belchite, Pyrenees), it quickly becomes " meagre" off the main routes and requires preparation/planning. Gastronomy very dependent on the district. Prices are slightly above average by Spanish standards, but this is certainly due to the fact that it is an industrial location with comparatively low unemployment.

What language school directors said about Zaragoza

Yolanda Nalvaiz Alconchel

Zaragoza is a city that houses nearly 700,000 people. City of clearly Mediterranean roots, it is a city with a lively life. Streets, squares and avenues are filled with people who enjoy, willing to share with their visitors their city, traditions, festivities and their joie de vivre.

Most recent student reviews of language schools in Zaragoza

Noûs Formaciones

I was very well catered for. I had one-to-one lessons and they were very entertaining. I was encouraged and motivated to speak very well.

Noûs Formaciones

The quality of the teaching was outstanding. Whether this was due to the small number of students (2 in the Spanish course), I cannot say. Individual wishes were combined very well with what was didactically necessary. The lesson times were not rigidly scheduled for mornings or afternoons, so that students also had the opportunity to visit sights in Zaragoza that were only open on weekdays and only in the mornings or afternoons. Speaking of sights: Recommendations on what was worth visiting were a matter of course at the school, as was support in organising trips to the surrounding countryside (Pyrenees, Belchite).

Information about Zaragoza

Why Zaragoza? Zaragoza is the capital of the Aragon region and Spain’s fifth-largest city. Zaragoza's appeal owes much to its monuments, there is a turreted castle with an interior like a mini-Alhambra and a basilica that overlooks the Ebro River and several other landmarks show a magnificent display of both Islamic and Gothic architecture. The historic centre where most of the mentioned landmarks are housed is almost entirely traffic-free and includes a vast 400 m-long Plaza del Pilar which makes for an enjoyable stroll. Once you tire of all the exploring, indulge in the delight of knowing that the city has some of the best tapas and bar scenes in the country.
