Lima ratings & opinions
How our students rated their experience in Lima
What our students said about Lima
Chaotic bus traffic, as many providers operate the transport network. It is annoying that horns are honked day and night. Also the honking of taxi drivers hoping for a ride with the gringos. Cabify is a great app for ordering a taxi, and it's great that the price for the ride is included. So you don't feel ripped off. Unfortunately, there are few cultural events in Lima. The tourism centres are not staffed or only have a lot of brochures from a few providers. No real incoming tourism.
The city is huge and travelling from one place to the other takes a long time due to the absence of an overall public transportation system. But this is what makes Lima an interesting and adventurous choice which I can totally recommend to anyone who loves to explore new places.
South American metropolis without any special sights, but excellent food and a cool atmosphere (in Miraflores)
Very big city with lots of hustle and bustle. I particularly enjoyed living in Miraflores.
Very diverse, bustling and interesting city. There are many beautiful places to see.
I love Lima and have visited and will continue to visit this city in the future.
I believe that this city is not as dangerous as we are told on TV.
I highly recommend to anyone to go and visit. It’s incredible.
As it is a difficult time, I cannot say anything about it.
What language school directors said about Lima
Because it's ranked as the best food in Latin America, besides interesting museums and the most beautiful views of the pacific ocean, walk along the Malecón, a six-mile boardwalk perched on clifftops, we'll see joggers and surfers down the beaches.

I liked the school programme very much. After each grammar topic, we had the opportunity to practise the topic. I liked that the teachers changed every week and each teacher could teach us a bit differently. In one week I could speak.
There are many cultural activities which help to practise Spanish. Very good team of teachers.

I thought the combination of lessons in the morning and excursions in the afternoon was great. The activities were very varied and well organised. Everyone who works at the school is super nice, you always have someone to talk to and I felt very comfortable. I also really enjoyed the lessons. It was a good mix of grammar and speaking.
