The southern Spanish region of Andalusia stretches from the eastern coast of the Alboran Sea to the western border with Portugal. The North of the region is filled with rugged hills and farmland. It has an interesting history and is a unique blend of cultures. This is seen in landmarks such as the Royal Alcázar of Seville, the Mosque-Cathedral of Córdoba and Alhambra, a fortified palace in Granada. Seville, the provincial capital, is also home to other interesting monuments including Plaza de España and Catedral de Sevilla. In contrast to its northern landscape, Andalusia has a spectacular shoreline in the South of the province with sandy beaches in coastal cities such as Malaga and Marbella.

Q&A - Questions about Spanish courses and schools in Spain
- Do you organise stays for student groups?“We can indeed organise stays for groups. Please contact one of our agents for more information in this regard.”Rubén De Haro, LanguageCourse.Net - Mar 21, 2023I am looking for a Spanish course in Southern Spain for 40+. Your website states that you provide these courses, but all the photos show very young people. Can you inform me about which course is best for me?“We offer courses to students of all ages. So there are also a lot of 40+ students who book courses with us. It is good to know that the average ages in the courses are often lower in the summer, as many young students are on the road during those months. If you really prefer to join classes with 40+ students, you can ask us to find a school that has a higher average age, choose a business course (which most of the time has a higher average age) or choose a senior course.”Robin Rebecca Pietersma, LanguageCourse.net - Feb 16, 2022I am looking for a Spanish course for 3 or 4 weeks for 45+ in Valencia or Seville. I would like to start at the end of August or September this year.“If you would like to travel in August/September, it is good to know that August is one of the hottest months in Spain. In Seville it is on average 22-37 degrees Celsius and in Valencia it is on average 22-30 degrees Celsius.
45+ students usually join the general Spanish courses the schools offer. This is often 20 lessons per week, 4 per day, Monday through Friday, between 9:00 and 14:00 (and sometimes in the afternoon). ”Robin Rebecca Pietersma, LanguageCourse.net - Feb 16, 2022FAQ - Frequently asked questions about Spanish courses in Spain
- Are there night buses in Malaga?“The city of Malaga has night bus services, known as "búhos" (owls in Spanish). These night buses are specially designed to operate during the hours when regular bus services are not in operation. They cover different routes throughout the city to ensure the mobility of residents and visitors during the night. Timetables and exact routes may vary, so it is advisable to consult the EMT Málaga (Empresa Malagueña de Transportes) website or visit the bus stops for the most up-to-date information.”Madly Simba, Language Travel Consultant from LanguageCourse.Net - Aug 08, 2024I was wondering: 3 weeks seems like the ideal period, but can I book 2 weeks initially and then possibly extend it by another week?“Yes of course, booking two weeks first and then extending 1 week is certainly possible. Of course, we cannot guarantee that the third week is possible as there must be availability. But if there is, you can book the third week later. Just let us know before Wednesday in your last week. And if you book through us, we can give you our 5% discount. ”Robin Rebecca Pietersma, Language Travel Consultant from LanguageCourse.Net - Jan 30, 2023In which language is the Spanish lesson for seniors given?“All Spanish classes are always taught in Spanish, from day one. This is mandatory with Cervantes' official accreditation. This way your language is immediately stimulated. If there are moments where you really struggle, the teachers can exceptionally & temporarily help in English.”Robin Rebecca Pietersma, Dutch Consultant from LanguageCourse.net - May 11, 2022
