The school is in the centre of the city, a short distance from many shops, cafés, eateries and within walking distance of local attractions such as the Plaça de la Reina, Museo Valenciano de la Ilustración y la Modernidad and La Lonja de la Seda. With the golden Valencian beaches only a short metro ride away, Route 66 Idiomas is in a fantastic place to enjoy Valencia to its fullest.
Course selection: Route 66 Idiomas offers a wide range of courses suitable for all language levels. Extensive General Spanish courses are available over a variety of schedules along with courses for the CCSE Spanish citizen exam and the DELE exam. The school also provides English courses available to all levels. Route 66 Idiomas in Valencia guarantees small class numbers as to be able to give students the high-quality tuition and experience that every student is looking for.
School facilities: The school's facilities are excellent, offering students everything they need to have a fulfilling and successful time in Valencia. These amenities include a library, computer lab, movie room, free coffee, use of a kitchen with fridge and microwave, free Wi-Fi, free water and a student support desk to assist with any questions or queries students may have. "I attended a 4-week A2 language course in August. For the first 2 weeks I had one-to-one tuition in order to get to the language level of the group. For the last 2 weeks I was able to go to the group (4 students). The lessons were never boring and varied with games, listening comprehension, films, free speaking etc. Yes, more activities could be offered by the school. But in the end I didn't miss them. Those who are open-minded can quickly find sports activities, language exchanges and parties, e.g. via Meetup. First and foremost, it was important to me to find a good school with motivated teachers and that worked perfectly with Route66. Learn in a relaxed, family atmosphere!"

Special note for 2025 holiday season: If you plan to take a course during the high season months of April, June, July or August 2025 we urgently advise you to book as early as possible. In 2024 many schools were fully booked during the holidays and the situation is unlikely to be different for 2025 due to a current shortage of teachers, which affects most schools.

All teachers are qualified DELE examiners and experienced in preparing students for the exam.

The students all left as quickly as possible at 1 p.m. I would have liked to have lingered around, asked this and that, stood around after the course. A large number of the students are currently from Russia, so there wasn't much of a mix from other countries. ”

- Can you please tell us how and when the airport transfer is arranged?“You have to select it during the booking process. Once the booking is confirmed and you know your flight-details, please send us them by email, and we can pass it on to the school.
Normally a member of the school will pick-up your son directly at the Airport, waiting at the exit with a sign of the school or the name of your son.

Would a host family be a good idea?“Route 66 has a choice between a shared flat or a host family.
If you choose a host family, you will have full immersion in the Spanish language, as you will then be able to practise Spanish with the local family over breakfast and/or dinner! Host families are of very good quality at Route 66.
If you opt for a shared flat, you will have more time to yourself and can do more of your own planning, as no meals are included. Shared flats score slightly lower than host families at Route 66.
All Route 66 accommodations are between 13-30 minutes' walk from the school, so you do not need to use public transport for this.
