The school is centrally located. The atmosphere is friendly. In addition to the lessons, there are activities for all students that give them an understanding of Spain and Valencia in particular.
Disliked
The classrooms were very poor. They were more like makeshift rooms than proper classrooms. Much too small, no tables to be able to write properly. There was only a circle of chairs made of cheap plastic chairs where the backrest almost buckled if you tried to sit down.

Awesome!!! Teachers very enthusiastic and patient. Make a lot of effort to make you understand everything! Nice varied lessons you also get to know the Spanish culture through the lessons.
Disliked
The only minus point was that I came into class the first day and there was not even a proposal round. However, this was discussed with the teacher and with students who came in later during the week, a proposal round was made so something was immediately done with it!
Insider tip: Take a bike ride through the Riu Turia .

Very nice atmosphere and warm welcome at the school! Classes were very well organised and built up. I had quite a lot of different teachers and they were all really good and helpful.
Disliked
I only received a link with information about other activities two days before leaving. Internet connection breaking down from time to time and thus not possible to use it during classes for more interaction.

Quality of teaching / language progress: I liked the private class 3 hours per day) a lot and felt I learned quite a lot - but still do not feel able to communicate correctly in Spanish.

David was a real hit as a teacher - inspiring, motivating, dynamic - had the strongly changing group firmly under control - over 2 x 2 time hours!
Disliked
Small classrooms without daylight and fresh air - uncomfortable plastic chairs with folding tables for writing. Groups vary widely with up to 10 participants. Leisure activities only for younger participants. Non-transparent planning system. Organisers sometimes unresponsive. Would not visit the school again and would not recommend it for older participants.

- Well organised. - My teacher was great, patient, sympathetic, supportive.
Disliked
- Very complicated to change levels: a 5-page test has to be taken, for which you may need a lot of time and then the change takes place the following week; a simple recommendation from the teacher would be much easier and quicker. - The A.1 Plus course I was put in is unfortunately very mixed, i.e. complete beginners and people who are already on the way to A2 have lessons together, someone is always bored and others are overtaxed, which is not good. - The activities sounded interesting, but I was always unable to take part because I had a course.

During my three months at the school, we had a constant change of teachers, content was repeated over and over again and no C1 course was set up despite having enough people with the appropriate level, so I couldn't make any great progress. Some of the classrooms are indoors without windows, so there is hardly any ventilation. During autumn/winter, no leisure activities are offered.

The location in the old town
Disliked
It wasn't a course, but blocks of 2 hours each, always with different participants. As beginners, we were overwhelmed on the first day. The methodology and didactics were old-fashioned, the "Nuremberg funnel" method, and the planned material was pushed through. There was little interaction, our speaking went to zero, and when it happened, pronunciation was rarely corrected.
Review details
Quality of teaching / language progress: There was no recognisable structure, each 2-hour block had its own topics, there was no recognisable connection.
Other comments Rooms very small, stuffy, windows could not be open, the chairs incredibly uncomfortable, the small folding tables at the chairs not sufficient
