Why Vejer de la Frontera? Vejer de la Frontera is one of the most beautiful villages, not only in Andalusia, but in Spain. In 1978 it won the first prize in the national competition of beautiful towns, and was awarded the title "Area of Great Tourist Importance". Due to its singular tophill position, some of the ancient civilization settled in the village of Vejer. Fifteen minutes away on the Atlantic coast are some spectacular beaches and Vejer offers a big variety of hotels, guest houses, shops, restaurants, galleries and side-walk cafés.
