What our students said about Salamanca
For me, Salamanca is fascinating because of the architecture and art, the living and present history everywhere, the tradition and the university (academic) atmosphere. Plus a lot of different events. So on a day-to-day basis, I think it's a place where you can live an easy, relaxed and enjoyable life.
Salamanca was awesome! It was big enough that there was lots to do, but small enough that it was easy to navigate and also very safe. The climate was also wonderful – dry but very summery!
I had only seen pictures of the city, so I didn't actually get to know much of it until I got there. It is an interesting city with a lot of history and proud people.
Salamanca has a very interesting old university and public library to wonder through with amazement, as do most cities in Europe. Salamanca is not near a beach.
It's a beautiful small city. The only areas I haven't commented on are ones where I've not been sufficiently engaged in to form an opinion.
The historic core of the city is an inhabited open-air museum. The many students make it a very young city with a lot of charm.
Salamanca is a beautiful city. It is charming yet still practical. All the landmarks are worth seeing and are all affordable.
Beautiful city, lots of attractions, also in the surrounding area, excellent cleanliness. Absolutely recommended.
I don't like nightlife or shopping. I enjoyed museums, churches and historical sites in the city.
Tourist overcrowded, hundreds of groups, crowds moving through the same sightseeing main points.

Q&A - Questions about Spanish courses and schools in Salamanca
- We are a family of 4 and are interested in booking a Spanish programme. Our kids are 7 and 9 years old, can you organize semi-private lessons for all of us?“We can organize semi-private lessons for the adults and for the kids but with different teachers. For the kids, we have a different teaching method, specific to their age.”Nuria Castro, Don Quijote Spanish Department from Don Quijote - Nov 28, 2022How do kids manage their pocket money? I am interested in booking a summer camp for my daughter, but at that age, we don't necessarily want to give them a debit card but then what are the other options? It would be too much cash to bring along.“We understand your concern as parents, what we have done in the past is the following: the parents send us a certain amount of money, and we give the student each week (or when he or she needs it) whatever the parents have stipulated.”Sophie L'Enfant, Administration from Colegio de España - Oct 24, 2022
