The quality of the lessons was good with a good teacher. Especially very practical with an emphasis on talking and listening!
The classrooms echo quite a bit, so it is sometimes difficult to understand.

July 2025Guelaguetza or Lunes del Cerro (Mondays on the Hill) is an indigenous event where representatives of the 16 different ethnolinguistic groups in the area come together to celebrate and put on display their traditions and culture with folk dances and regional attire.
October 2025 - November 2025One of the places with the most colourful Day of the Dead celebrations in the country, Oaxaca's streets are filled with skeletons of all sorts and sizes. Graveyards and home altars are full of flowers, candles and offerings and households prepare a feast for their dead loved ones.
December 2025Unique to Oaxaca, this tradition dates back to 1897 when the city set up a formal competition. Each year, just before Christmas the city holds a competition for the best carvings made from radishes.
