Location: NaCLIPS is located in the beautiful and historic city of Naples, Italy. The school is located in one of the most famous avenues in the city centre, which links the railway station to the historical centre. Nearby there are plenty of bars, pizzerias and restaurants. It is close to the Garibaldi railway station (the central station of the city) and the Duomo metro 1 station. The harbor and the historical centre are all within walking distance from the school building.
Facilities: The school is in a beautiful and newly renovated building, staircase A 4° floor with elevator. The venue is very bright with large windows. There is a hall with a secretary station, five classrooms, a big salon and three balconies as a common area for the students. The communal space can be used to study, chat, have tea and relax. The school also organizes seminars and activities. Each classroom is provided with tables, chairs, whiteboards, air conditioning, fans, balconies. In the library students can choose narrative, grammar or Italian culture books. WIFI and didactic materials are included.
Course structure: NaCLIPS offers Italian courses suitable for students of all levels, with group programmes in the morning, afternoon and evening. Specific courses such as "Italian at the table", where Italian is learned through the friendly processes of dining, along with exam preparation courses for the CILS/CELI exams, are also available. Programmes of Private Tuition are available throughout the year.

The choice of topics was excellent and often tailored to my personal interests. The teachers are well-trained, open, likeable, humorous, committed, motivating and knowledgeable discussion partners. The content of the course was very varied, including aspects of Napoleonic culture and politics, and in formal terms it was an ideal mix of reading, grammar and conversation. The cultural programme was also exceptional: a trip to the State Archives of Naples, a magnificent 19th century palazzo that is otherwise difficult to access.”

“The lessons often integrated Neapolitan culture, food and music which created a more interesting learning experience.
My teacher also gave tips on where to eat, which museums are important and what foods to try, always in Italian.
Instead of using a book, we used handouts that were more specific to the grammar covered.
The classes always started and ended on time.
At 59 years old I had trepidation about returning to school, even a language school, but it turned out to be the joy of my 2 month stay in Napoli.”
Insider tip: “Make sure to take day trips to the nearby islands. Rome is also a 75 minute train ride away. Explore a new church everyday. Eat something that does not exist where you live. Take a walk along the sea on Sundays and have a drink at the many outdoors cafes. Visit Castle St.Elmo on the top of the city for the best views around. Find a local bar to have a coffee in every morning and connect with the staff there and make it your own. Visit the catacombs in the funky neighborhood of Sanita’. Buy a ticket to Teatro San Carlo, the oldest opera house in Europe. Tours are also available. Pompeii is also a great day trip.

Other comments Communication was excellent from the first e mail to the last WhatsApp goodbye and good luck.
The teachers are professional but also really make learning fun and relative to life in Naples and Italy. We were offered coffee and cookies often before our lessons, very sweet. We were all invited to share a beautiful cake marking the 4th anniversary of NaClips. The location is in the middle of the city, 3 minute walk from the metro and is set between 2 interesting neighborhoods. I researched 3 other schools before choosing NaClips and I know I made the correct choice.

Generally course material is distributed free to students but has to be returned to the school at end of course.
Comments about courses
Minimum number of students required to run a course is 2. If the minimum number students is not reached then the reservation will be valid for an individual course of one hour and half per day.
Due to logistic issues, it may happen that group courses will be rescheduled to 12pm-3pm, but there is very little likelihood that it happens.
VISA REFUSAL: In case of visa refusal (providing official documentation of visa rejection) the school refunds the whole amount paid to them minus a 20% secretary fee.

- I'm interested in the Standard course. Would you be able to tell me more about the course e.g. its structure ?“The lessons are scheduled from from 9 to 12 from Monday to Friday. Each lesson lasts an hour and a half, and there are two teachers who take turns. There will be a five minute break between the two lessons. In each lesson there is a part dedicated to grammar and one to conversation, and there is always homework to do for the next day. On Tuesdays at 12:15 pm there is an hour of free group conversation that the school offers to students, and every week (Thursday or Friday) there is a free cultural activity, which changes every week (walk around town, pizza, aperitif, seminar at school).
