The average age outside summer is 17 years higher than in summer.
Location: Located right in the heart of Puerto de la Cruz, Don Quijote Tenerife could not have a better location. With the best beaches, recreational centres, shops, restaurants and cafes all within walking distance, students are sure to find comfort in the Canary Island spirit. Housed in a traditional Canarian-style building, the school has a circular central patio with benches, plants and fresh air where students can enjoy the island's sunshine during breaks between classes. As mentioned, the school is literally a few steps away from the black volcanic sands of Mariánez Beach and a 2-minute walk from the Lago Mariánez shopping complex.
Course selection: Don Quijote Tenerife offers a great range of courses, catering for all levels of students and types of study. If you are looking for a General Spanish course in-group, semi-private or private classes, they will be sure to have the course for you. They also offer more specific courses for mature students with their 50+ programme along with a Gap Year programme for students looking to stay for longer durations of study. In addition to this, the school also offer business courses and Exam Preparation courses for both the DELE and SIELE exams.
Additional information: Another aspect of Don Quijote that is often favoured by students is they keep the number of students in each classroom low, making sure each student gets the attention needed to achieve their personal language goals.

In 2024 many schools were fully booked during the holidays and the situation is unlikely to be different for 2025 due to a current shortage of teachers, which affects most schools.

Generally course material has to be purchased by the student. The costs of course material will be approximately 45 € per course level.
Comments about courses
The registration fee is valid for 1 year and is waived when the course takes place up to 12 months from the previous reservation.
Health Insurance (mandatory for students under 18 and Internships Programs): EUR 50 per week.
CANCELLATION GUARANTEE: EUR 75 per week.

Allows students to cancel program for ANY reason (I.e., examination, work, illness, visa issues...). Does not apply to private apartments or hotels.

Changes to your confirmed booking (start dates, program, or services) can be made up to 2 weeks before your arrival.
