Location: Amauta Spanish School Cuzco is located in the beautiful and historic city of Cuzco, Peru. The school is housed within walking distance of the infamous Plaza de Armas and has several amenities, bars, ceviche restaurants, and attractions nearby. Attractions and sites of interest within a 15-minute walk of the school include the Plaza de Armas, Cuzco Cathedral, Kurikancha and much more.
Course selection: The course selection is abundant, with many Spanish courses given in conjunction with activities and subjects relevant to the local area, culture, and landscape. In addition to General Spanish courses taught in groups or privately, Amauta Spanish School Cuzco supplies Spanish with volunteer work, spirituality programmes, trekking through the Sacred Valley, programmes in the Inca Civilisation and the local language of Quechua, and much more. Medical Spanish, Peruvian Cuisine, Peruvian Music & Dance and various adventure programmes, including river rafting, paragliding, yoga and rock climbing, are also readily available.
Getting around: The centre of Cuzco and many of its attractions are within walking distance of the school. There are an array of tour companies to choose from, allowing the local areas and attractions to be trekked and discovered easily. The school is within a 10-minute taxi or 30-minute walk of the Cruz del Sur bus terminal, which is the station used for most long-distance bus arrivals and departures.

"Horrible!!! The staff in the school is suuuuper unfriendly. I would never ever in my life book this horrible school again!!!!!!
There is no warm water for 40$ a night ?! And the Manager “Celia “ doesn’t care, she just said that I’m a liar and that was her solution of the problems. The walls in my single room were wet and there was a horrible smell in there. Disgusting! Completely overpriced ! This trip was the worst one I ever had and on top of these unfriendly people I paid a huge amount of money."

This course is especially tailored to the needs and interests of people over 55 years. In this program students will enjoy a unique fusion of Spanish classes and activities. The program might include visits to local volunteer projects, a local market and an artisans’ fair. In addition, this focused program also offers lectures about about Peruvian culture and history.

There is no warm water for 40$ a night ?! And the Manager “Celia “ doesn’t care, she just said that I’m a liar and that was her solution of the problems. The walls in my single room were wet and there was a horrible smell in there. Disgusting! Completely overpriced ! This trip was the worst one I ever had and on top of these unfriendly people I paid a huge amount of money.
Other comments Never ever again. Worst trip ever and cost us a lot of nerves because the manager (Celia) is not willing to help you with any problems.

That’s why we were on top of infrastructure issues as the hot water connections and your food requests. When you still weren’t happy, we agreed upon a full refund for the missed weeks. You even extended your Spanish courses for another week, and you actually gave a good review to our Spanish course (“ the school was good”) and to our Spanish teachers, cultural activities and tours.
