In this course, you will take 15 hours of classes per week, all of which are based on content that you personally want to study. The home tuition programme takes place in your teacher’s home in Rotterdam, making this an immersive method of studying Dutch and taking your abilities to the next level.
Rotterdam is a large city, but with the help of your host family you’ll quickly learn where all the best entertainment and services are located - and the city’s reliable public transport system will get you there easily. As is the case throughout the Netherlands, getting around by bicycle is safe and practical. Rotterdam certainly has an international population, but you can be assured that most of the people you will encounter in daily life are locals and Dutch speakers, so you will have abundant opportunities to practise your communication skills.
