Course: Standard Italian Course - 1 week

Maria is an extremely passionate and dedicated teacher. I liked the small classes which meant everyone had plenty of opportunity to contribute. Maria insisted on everyone always speaking Italian, which was challenging but certainly improved my confidence and ability to communicate. I found the additional one-hour of private lessons I had arranged made a huge difference to my progress.
Maria was also extremely generous with her time in taking us on excursions two afternoons each week and one day on the weekends. This meant we got to experience things that would have otherwise been inaccessible to those of us without a car. Orbetello is a fantastic place to study Italian - a beautiful, historic town in a great location with fantastic food and lovely people who are very patient and helpful to those of us trying to learn their language.
If I had more time, I would have stayed longer than the three weeks I spent with Terramare.

Course: Standard Italian Course - 4 weeks
Student age: 65 years
It was close to the flat I privately rented, located just in the center of the historical city of Orbetello.
I did not like Maria not speaking clearly and taking care of her emails during the course.
The afternoon activities were organised according to the mood of Maria and did not start before 3pm sometimes even 5pm: what to do from 1 to 3-5pm?
We were 3 very different levels in the course, so there was little chance for me to improve.
