What our students said about Kiev
I absolutely loved Kyiv. Everybody was really friendly and really easy to talk to. I didn't go shopping, so I can't really comment on that. As for public transport: everything is quite easy to reach by metro, but it's quite crowded (even though I was told that it's even worse outside the holiday period). There are loads of Uber drivers in Kyiv 24/7 though, so that's always an option as well (and still relatively cheap)!
Netherlands
Kiev is not a particularly beautiful city, but has improved greatly through the years, and does offer many things to see and do.
Very nice green city. Great transport network. If possible May / June when everything is green.

As a matter of principle, I live in Kiev and this means that my assessment is not neutral.

Simple, friendly atmosphere and good professors.
It's a great discount option for those seeking language study who are already familiar with the region. Not sure I would recommend it to a first time traveller, but worth the money compared to other schools.
