The small northern province of La Rioja is world-famous as a producer of Spanish Wine. Vineyards extend throughout the region, particularly around the northwestern town of Haro. López de Heredia Viña Tondonia, S.A. and Bodegas Muga. Logroño is the capital city of the region and features Calle del Laurel and Concatedral de Santa María de la Redonda. La Rioja is home to the Cantabrian Mountains, which has the ski resort Valdezcaray and Monastery of San Millán de Yuso.
