Grand Est is a North East region in France, which borders Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany and Switzerland. The region was divided into three separate regions - Alsace, Lorraine and Champagne-Ardennes - until it was unified into one in 2016. Strasbourg is the capital city of Grand Est. The city rests in the far East of the province and has interesting attractions including Cathédrale Notre Dame de Strasbourg and Palais Rohan. Also found in the East of the region are the Unterlinden Museum and the spectacular Château du Haut-Kœnigsbourg. Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Reims is a beautiful structure in the North West of Grand Est, in the small city of Reims.
