The Balearic Islands are an archipelago in the Balearic Sea, off the East coast of the mainland of Spain. It consists of four large islands; Mallorca, Menorca, Ibiza and Formentera as well as a number of smaller islands and islets. The largest of the islands is Mallorca, a blend of beautiful beaches, picturesque hilltops and historical monuments. The capital, Palma, is home to the Catedral-Basílica de Santa María de Mallorca and Royal Palace of La Almudaina. Menorca is famed for its secluded white sandy beaches and coves. Ibiza is well known for its nightlife with International DJs playing in the nightclubs throughout the summer months.

FAQ - Frequently asked questions about Spanish courses in Spain
- I would like to go on a revolutionary trip but at the same time learn Spanish, which I love. What do you recommend?“As a first trip, to practise the language and learn the basics, I recommend European destinations: Malaga, Granada, the Canary Islands, Ibiza, where many of the locals also speak English and learning to practise the language will be easier. We have many partner schools throughout Spain and will be happy to find the one that best suits your needs. ”Veronica Romualdi, Language Travel Consultant from LanguageCourse.Net - Sep 02, 2024I would like to know if I could have a cancellation of the course because of the non issuance of a visa?
“In the event of a visa refusal, most of our partner schools have accepted our exclusive policy of withholding only a minimum amount to cover administrative costs (for most schools - but not all, 180€ max). The rest is fully refunded upon presentation of the visa refusal document from the embassy, which must however be sent at the latest 1 month before the start of the course, which is why it is very important to allow sufficient time for your visa application, usually at least 2/3 months before the start date.
