Venue: NSX Langley School is located in Langley Park, about 1.5 miles from Loddon, a market town in South Norfolk. The school grounds once belonged to the twelfth century abbey of the same name and Langley Hall, built in 1737, was originally a country house which was converted into a high school for boys after World War II. Surrounded by vast countryside, the school is about half an hour traveling by car from the city of Norwich.
Facilities: Langley School is equipped with several football and rugby pitches, tennis courts, as well as a large sports hall with multi-sport facilities. English Classes are taught by native English speakers in the school classrooms. There is also a computer suite for student use.
Accommodations: Sleeping quarters at Langley School are organised by gender and age group, with multiple-bed rooms and some double or single rooms. The smaller rooms (singles and doubles) are usually used by the older students. Students eat in the school dining hall and there is a coffee shop on site.
Activities: NSX runs a series of core activities every day for their students. Since class schedules can alternate between morning and afternoon sessions, the activity sessions do the same. These can include sports or arts related activities during the day, as well as a full, evening programme of fun activities like movie night, campfire, disco, talent show, etc. Three full day excursions are also organised for each two-week stay.
