Positive aspects of school
Very friendly teachers. Enjoyed the cultural aspects offered. Excellent class size.
Negative aspects
The didactic style of teaching was quite strange to me. Lists of verbs and prepositions with teacher explanations but little practice. I found it rather monotonous and repetitive. More variety with a bit of reading and listening in between to promote discussion and to practise the grammar would make it more varied. Fede was a lovely lady but I could not always follow her quiet and fast explanations. It would have been nice to have a change of teacher for the last hour of conversation.
City/place
I have been many times before and love it.
Quality of teaching / language progress
Needs more variety of activities in general Italian. Articles, news items, and discussions would vary the word list approach.

Positive aspects of school
The teachers are very well qualified and respond very well to the level of the individual students. The classes are very small. The afternoon activities were fun. The switch between grammar and conversation was very good. The teachers were very welcoming.
Negative aspects
I would have liked more everyday conversation in complete sentences
City/place
I could only click 4 stars instead of 5

Positive aspects of school
Small groups, intimate atmosphere, great teachers. Monica and Fede, thank you!
Negative aspects
The weather! It was not supposed to rain so much!
City/place
The city is very lively and interesting, but since located on steep hills, may be tiring. Public transport within the city is ok, but inter-city communication is a disaster!

small groups, nice teacher, great engagement
Negative aspects
I was promised a C1 course, but I got a B1 course. I had booked three hours a day. The course was from nine to eleven, then there was an one-hour break and the course was over. That was too much of a break for me.
City/place
OK for one week

Negative aspects
Montessori method is only suitable for children in my opinion
Insider tips about what future students should not miss
Maybe plan more than one week for learning at school to get used to the Montessori method.
City/place
Cagliari is the largest city in Sardinia. A good starting point for countless excursions by car and on foot. The largest and most fascinating market in Sardinia is in Cagliari. The city is lively and bustling, has much to offer and is definitely worth seeing
Quality of teaching / language progress
Montessori method is not the best choice for adults. There is little motivation. A lot of material for independent learning and far too little conversation.

Positive aspects of school
I liked the teachers Fede and Giulia, the excursions were very helpful and practical. Fede is a very encouraging, conscientious, positive, growth-oriented, patience-devoted teacher. Giulia possesses similar qualities as Fede and her activities helped me with very practical, useful, basic language asking of questions while we actually performed the activity. The Directrice, Maura is very flexible and humanistic.
Negative aspects
Nothing major really.
I think if I have one suggestion, for true beginners, I would put together a very basic, organized, weekly language, written goals handout to use as a basis of measurement learning accomplishment.
Insider tips about what future students should not miss
Keep an open mind.
Other comments
I'm a satisfied customer/learner.
City/place
I like Cagliari as a city to go to!
Quality of teaching / language progress
I probably should have signed up for the beginners course as opposed to the little more advanced "conversational" class.
