Positive aspects of school

... The size of the school alone allows every student to quickly make friends with other students. It is also ‘normal’ to speak English outside of lessons! Professional tour guide. Everyone very helpful. I think I will go again. :-)

Be careful when choosing your accommodation. In the wrong place, it could be noisy ;-)

Positive aspects of school

Great teachers. Emphasis on useful and enriching learning. Ample space for talking. Interactivity of teaching. Organisation of leisure activities.

Negative aspects

Small classrooms. Sometimes more than 12 students in a class.

Use public transport. It's ok and can get you to any place of interest. Don't miss organised events, you can get easily acquainted with other students and you will have more opportunity to speak.

I definitely recommend it. For shorter stays a great place, albeit a bit crowded with heavy traffic.

Overall the school is very good, the course chosen fits the description and the quality of teaching is high.

Our teacher Rob was very good, big praise!

Negative aspects

The language levels in the classes are too different. Lots of group work, which was far too loud. The teacher for the excursions wasn't prepared at all - she didn't know the tours, didn't have any material to give out, read up on... You could have done without it - I can read Wikipedia entries on my own. Far too many people in the small classes. It's difficult to learn pronunciation with 13 other students.

Positive aspects of school

The school lived up to my expectations. This was my fourth time at EC English School and I would do it again. The teachers are able to inspire their students for the lessons and are very well trained. The classrooms are equipped with the latest technology. Learning here is simply fun.

This depends on the interests of the students. There are plenty of offers.

For me, the composition of the classes was ok for standard lessons. There were also younger students in the intensive courses, but this was not a disadvantage.

City/place

The city is well organized with shopping facilities and restaurants. However, there are a lot of construction sites. The traffic is stressful as it is constantly backed up. There are virtually no parks and no green spaces.

The composition of the classes with 30+ was ok.

Accommodation

Very nice, English-speaking family. Well equipped rooms. There are laundry facilities for longer stays. The bathroom is shared with other students, but that's not a problem. The breakfast is probably typical for the country, but sufficient.

I particularly liked the courses for adult students. The quality of education depends directly on the personality of the teacher and the school tries to meet students' needs.
