The city is abundant with history, architectural delights and culture, with Linguaschools Granada situated right in the middle of it all. The school is housed centrally, between the Fuente de Las Granadas, Federico Garcia Lorca park and Plaza Isabel La Católica. There are many eateries, links to public transport and attractions nearby, with sites such as the Granada Cathedral within a 10-minute walk of the school's front doors.

Course selection: In addition to General Spanish courses, available to students of all levels, Linguaschools Granada also provides programmes in Spanish & Culture, Exam Preparation (DELE, SIELE), and a combination programme of Spanish with subjects such as Flamenco Guitar and Flamenco Dance. It's hard to say what was best about the school, but I felt welcomed by all the staff and asking for help was very easy. I had three wonderful teachers, Nuria, Ana Hernanates? and Ana Delgado. Nuria gave a great lecture on the historical development and she knew that I did not understand so much Spanish so she spoke some English to, so several of us could follow the story with her. I want to have it emailed. I had three private lessons and then became a little more acquainted with that teacher, but all three teachers were super good at giving positive feedback.
Insider tip: I have nothing negative to say. As you learn more, you need to communicate more. We were never told how to get online so we could hear Spanish, so the staff should be trained in that.

Other comments I was at the bottom level then I started, I was not aware that several of the students was Spanish speakers, but the school did handle this in an excellent way

Staff were superb, very friendly, fun and knowledgeable. They seemed genuinely interested in student welfare. The location in central Granada was perfect with cafés, bars, restaurants and sights all within minimal walking distance. There was a sunny terrace on which we could chat to fellow students during breaks.
Disliked
There were initial teething problems, however, the school was responsive to my concerns and resolved the issues.
Insider tip: Although I didn't take 1:1 lessons, various students recommended them to me. I would add them if I were to return.
Review details
Quality of teaching / language progress: The course was really well balanced. The first lesson focused on grammar and the second on using that grammar in conversation. I opted for additional conversation lessons in week 2 as the quality of teaching and the ambience at the school was so good.
Other comments The staff are what really make this place special. I would return without hesitation and would recommend the school to others.

Majority of the teachers are very good at their job and know how to motivate the students.
Insider tip: Tickets to visit the Alhambra should not be bought at kiosks. They are thieves. We bought tickets in a kiosk for EUR 59. The price should have been EUR 14.85 only. The price should have been EUR 9 for my wife and I because we are over 65 years old.

Other comments When the school is at full capacity, there are insufficient toilet facilities. Normally one has to queue for 3 to 5 minutes. This is not appropriate in my opinion.
