Location in Frankfurt: The school is found to the south west of the city, in an up and coming neighborhood known as Bahnhofsviertel. It has a good night scene, with a selection of clubs, bars and live music venues. The area also has a wide range of restaurants to choose from.

Navigating the city: The main train station in Frankfurt, the Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof, is 7 minutes by foot from the school. There are many train lines leaving from here to nearby cities. The area is a travel hub with lots of bus stations, and an U-bahn station for both Line Four and Line Five. On the way to the station, students will pass a tram stop, which has a selection of routes running through it.

Main features: The Schirn Kunsthalle Frankfurt art gallery, Römerberg square and Museum für Moderne Kunst are all located in the heart of Frankfurt. These are a 15-minute walk from DID Deutsch-Institut, and for a scenic option, students can walk along the Main River. The Städel Museum is across the river, and to reach here students will need to cross the Holbeinsteg - Frankfurt am Main. It takes around 7 minutes to get here from the school.

Courses at DID Deutsch-Institut: The school has created a number of interesting German courses covering a range of topics to accommodate students' learning needs. There are general German courses for those wanting to learn the general use of the language, exam courses to prepare students for German exams, business classes for the use of German in the business world, a teacher training programme to teach German to international students, an internship programme and a university package to help students further their education.

School chain: DID Deutsch-Institut teaches German to international students in a number of cities throughout Germany. They focus on providing students with a complete German experience in an immersive environment. There are young learner programmes as either a summer camp or a homestay option. The summer camps take place in German speaking cities in both Germany and Austria.

The schools have been approved for their accomplishments by the FDSV, and are a member of the FaDaF. DID Deutsch-Institut has won various awards for their high performance as a German language school.

It´s a cultural melting pot, with people from Brazil, Turkey and other parts of the world. I truly felt excited to be learning German around other people like me that come from all around the world.
Insider tip: Get lost in the city and get to know as many Germans as possible in order to maximize the learning experience.

One teacher named Markus. For the rest a waste of money. The school is not worth the 700 euro.
Insider tip: The school has variable timetables. Sometimes in the morning sometimes in the afternoon. You cannot organize any other activities.

Interesting lessons, new grammar explained well and friendly staff and students.

Other comments I made my own arrangements for accommodation. New students are given assessment paper which had to be completed in the small busy reception area, and interviewed in the same noisy area as a group of new students were being conducted about the school. It could be organised better by using a classroom and more staff to interview. The school knows how many new students need to be assessed and interviewed. Otherwise I had a good experience over the two weeks but I found the first morning very stressful.

Insider tip: The monitors are not very flexible. I wanted to watch the World Cup knock out match in which my country was playing, I was obliged to take part in evening activities which took place in the hotel, only in a different room from where the screen with the game was, resulting in me missing a historic match played by my national team

Other comments For me the classes I followed had nothing to do with the intensive learning I was promised, and the price of the courses were not equal to the learning level it was provided from Institut. If they don't have an appropriate class as promised then it would be better to say so, so we can decide to follow it or not.
