Location: Stonyhurst Summer School Clitheroe is an educational boarding school institute located on the fringes of the Forest of Bowland National Landscape, in Lancashire, England. The school is housed within the traditional Roman Catholic, Stonyhurst College, a boarding school with expansive grounds and features.

Course selection: The school provides a variety of programmes for students of various levels, interests, and necessities. In addition to the Summer School + Activities programmes, Storyhurst Summer School Clitheroe also provides a Scholsars' Programme and a Summer School + Tennis Academy programme. Each programme includes English language tuition, an activities and excursions programme, accommodation (full board, residence), snacks, and a complimentary hoody and t-shirt.

Getting around: Manchester International Airport is around a 1-hour taxi or 150-minute journey via public transport from Whalley, which is the closest train stop to the school's location.

Visa Documents

Nationals from Mexico do not require a visa to study short term courses up to 180 days. A valid passport and an ETA (Electronic Travel Authorization) is required to enter the UK. The application for the ETA is done online https://www.gov.uk/guidance/apply-for-an-electronic-travel-authorisation-eta. The answer is expected within 3 working days, costing GBP 10. The ETA allows multiple entries in the country for up to 6 months for a maximum of 2 years or until the passport used when applying expires.
