Location: Jakera Havana is a Spanish language centre located in the bustling and colourful city of Havana, Cuba. The school is housed in the culturally rich Havana Vieja, close to many amenities, eateries, links to public transport, some green spaces, and several sites of social and cultural interest. Such places within walking distance of the school include the Plaza Vieja, Plaza de San Francisco de Asís, the Parque Central, Plaza de la Catedral and many more.
Accommodation: The school has its very own accommodation and promotes the ambience as "Our home is your home" to students. Casa Jakera provides shared rooms and washroom facilities, a kitchen, common areas, a terrace, 24/7 staff and more. It is sure to provide a fantastic communal point for peers and students to arrange their social and after-school outings and weekend excursions.
The accommodation is included in the school's programme prices, as are breakfast and one meal daily. The rich Cuban cuisine is a blend of Spanish and African influences that are sure to leave students asking for more!
Course selection: Course selection provides a range of 2-week programmes inclusive of lessons, accommodation, excursions and cultural activities. Volunteering, Dance, and Culture can also be part of these 2-week programmes.
Additional information: The school is very informed on all aspects of travelling and studying in Cuba, especially on what studetns need to have an excellent time there. They are always available to offer assistance and knowledge to studetns accordingly.
