What we like about the school

Location: CastiLa is located in the historic and southern Spanish city of Granada, at the foot of the Sierra Nevada Mountains. The school is housed in the Albaicín district, is surrounded by narrow paved streets, and has a locality steeped in a Medieval Moorish past dating back to the Late Middle Ages of the Nasrid Kingdom of Granada. A UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1984, the Albaicín district of Granada gives students a unique backdrop for furthering their studies of the Spanish language and culture. Well situated, surrounded by restaurants, eateries and with many of the historical landmarks of Granada close by, CastiLA is a great place for students to reach their language goals, whilst enjoying the city to its fullest.

School facilities: The facilities of the school include a garden, terrace and library. All classrooms are equipped with televisions, heating and air conditioning, whilst most have ample natural light to create an optimal learning environment.

Course selection: Course selection with CastiLa is extensive, with something available for Students, Teachers and Juniors, throughout most of the year. Programmes in Spanish Culture & Society, Literature, horseriding, skiing and hiking, can be taken in conjunction with General Spanish, ensuring there is something suitable for a variety of interests. Fully immersive Junior programmes are on hand most months of the year which include extracurricular activities, full board accommodation and weekend excursions. Business Certification courses and DELE Exam Preparation programmes are also very popular with accredited Spanish Teacher Programmes allowing Teachers to keep up to date with the latest teaching trends.
