The average age outside summer is 15 years higher than in summer.
Location: Camino Spanish School has a central location in Barcelona, right inbetween Plaza Espana and Plaza Catalunya, both central points within the city.
Getting around: There is a well connected metro stop around the corner, with most must see attractions around a 30 minute metro ride from this station. The surrounding area has all that you could need for your stay including plenty of bars, restaurants, shops and plazas for you to soak up the mediterranean sun whilst learning Spanish.
School facilities: The school has a number of air-conditioned classrooms for your comfort, an internet cafe, large patios, student relaxation areas and a wonderful rooftop terrace.
Extracurricular activities: Camino Spanish School is not just concerned about you learning Spanish in your lessons, but also about your whole experience in Barcelona. An afternoon club runs from Monday through until Friday with a member of staff available for any questions you may have. During this time, you have access to all the school facilities and you can play Spanish games or watch Spanish films with your peers. There are a number of after lesson activities running everyday of the week, which will help you explore the city as well as practise the Spanish you have learnt in the morning.

"I didn’t get much out of conversation class which is my big weakness - didn’t realise I was in wrong class until last day."
Special note for 2025 holiday season: If you plan to take a course during the high season months of April, June, July or August 2025 we urgently advise you to book as early as possible. In 2024 many schools were fully booked during the holidays and the situation is unlikely to be different for 2025 due to a current shortage of teachers, which affects most schools.

“For me, the lessons were optimal. I had a total of 4 different teachers and always private lessons. I am 81 years old. My wishes were always taken into account and I was always treated in a very friendly manner. I really appreciated the fact that none of the teachers spoke German, which was always a real challenge. From my point of view, I can really recommend the school. At my own request, I did not take part in the events offered. That would have been too exhausting for me.”

“The teachers are great, very well prepared and use very nice, engaging methods. The lessons are fast-paced and you can learn a lot of Spanish in a very short time. The rooms are bright and functional, new and modern. The common areas were very nice and comfortable. There was wifi everywhere.”
“Too many students in a group, between 14 and 15, about 10 would have been better, then you get your turn more often. The rooms are also too small for 15 students, they were so full that every chair was occupied and you had to squeeze through in some places.”
