Location: California Language Academy (CLA) San Francisco is an English language centre located in the bustling and one-of-a-kind Californian city of San Francisco, USA. Housed in the Union Square area of the city, surrounded by amenities, links to public transport, eateries, hotels and attractions, California Language Academy San Francisco has a great location to offer students everything they may need to enjoy their time in San Francisco. Attractions and places of social and cultural interest within walking distance of the school include the Dragon Gate Chinatown SF, the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, the popular Sutter Street, August Hall, the neighbouring Chinatown and much more.
Course selection: The course selection with CLA San Francisco is extensive, including something for students of all levels. In addition to General English programmes taught over various schedules and intensities, students can find combination programmes of General English with Business, University Pathways, Exam Preparation (TOEIC, TOEFL, FCE, CAE, IELTS) and private or semi-private tuition.
School facilities: The school facilities are modern and new, providing a vibrant learning environment. The facilities include a kitchen, a student lounge, large social rooms, a library, free WIFI and much more.
Getting around: CLA San Francisco has a fantastic location close to the downtown area. The Market St & Stockton St tram and bus stops are just a moment's walk from the school's front doors, ensuring travel in and around the city and its sights with ease.
The San Francisco International Airport (SFO) is around a 20-minute taxi ride from the school.

I wasn’t here for long but I had the opportunity to go on a field trip with the class to visit a few close neighborhoods, and the events organized (Halloween, Thanksgiving) were great.”
“I didn’t get along with my teacher (Jamila) because of her way of teaching I found didn’t correspond to what I expected to progress, she was mostly confusing and disrespectful in some things she said, and the programme was too quickly finished we ended up redoing the same things. ”
