Location: Academia Uruguay Montevideo is located in the capital city of Uruguay, Montevideo. The school is housed in a restored historic building in the Ciudad Vieja, close to the city centre and surrounded by amenities, shops, eateries and sites of social and cultural interest. Such attractions within walking distance of the school include the Puerto de Montevideo, the Mercado del Puerto, Palacio Taranco, the Puerta de la Ciudadela, Salvo Palace, the Solis Theatre and much more. There are also several links to public transport nearby.
School facilities: The school has been big on restoring the original look of the 1850s building. They have done so to a high standard, with aspects such as Argentine artist Diego Bugallo's mural, which is across one of the largest interior walls of the school, adding further depth to an already interesting building and interior. The school facilities include a rooftop terrace, a movie room, a lounge area, a library and much more. All classrooms have air conditioning, heating, and ample natural light to create an optimal learning environment.
Social and cultural: Academia Uruguay Montevideo promotes the rich history, traditions and lively culture of Uruguay via a diverse and regular social schedule. Activities can include walking tours around Montevideo's different barrios, trips to see shows and musical performances, contemporary art spaces, and much more. The activities change every week and are generally free or low-cost to all students.

Other comments I suggest that there be a brief welcome meeting every Monday for incoming students. In this conversation, it would be interesting to talk about the school and its extracurricular activities, as well as give an overview of Montevideo, clarifying possible doubts. I think it would be very useful, especially for those who will stay longer in the city.
