Information about Pescara
Why Pescara? Pescara is Abruzzo's largest city with one of the biggest marinas on the Adriatic. Heavily bombed during World War II, it was reduced to rubble but is now a lively place with a 16 km seafront. The ideal place if you simply want a chilled beach day or in the sea swimming then grabbing some fresh-Adriatic seafood in one of the fantastic many nearby restaurants for the sunset. There are several nature trails nearby where visitors can enjoy activities such as bird watching, climbing and horse riding.
