Friendly teachers, good infrastructure, free dance and cooking lessons once a week, perfect location in the city centre. Cusceños/as also learn English at the school, which creates a very intercultural environment. The school therefore also offers a tandem exchange, which is very useful for practising conversation.

I had a great teacher. All the staff was trying to help with any questions all the time. I felt very comfortable. Also nice that you get free tea and coffee all day.
It is just getting a bit too noisy from the classes in the afternoon.
I would definitely book Maximo again!

January 2025As a new year's tradition in Peru, the elders come together to select the candidates for the Varayocs, the supreme authority figures in each community. The ceremony is celebrated with chicha, a traditional beer made of corn, and the Varayocs receive the "vara", a stick or scepter carved of wood, as a sign of their position.
January 2025The Chiaraje dates back to pre-Colombian times. The battles staged here were in honour of the Pachamama and ensured the fertility of the lands in the region. A ritual battle is still held every year at dawn. Young men fight using whips and stone slings while the women, in traditional garb and adorned with flowers, prepare refreshments for later.
June 2025The Corpus Christi Celebration is a religious and cultural manifestation, celebrated with processions, gastronomy, craft fairs, dance and many parties throughout the historic centre of the city.
