The school has chosen a location outside of any city centre, ensuring that Castelldefels has everything students need to meet their language goals and that it is the ideal location to do so.
Location: Idealog Castelldefels is located in the popular beachside town of Castelldefels, Catalunya, Spain. Housed in a large residential home with a garden, in an up-market area of the outskirts of the town, Idealog Castelldefels is well situated for students to enjoy a secluded learning experience, whilst also being just a 45-60minute journey from Barcelona via public transport and a 25-minute from the closest beach.
Course selection: Course selection includes Spanish group lessons available to students of all levels and packages of individual tuition. Several Exam Preparation programmes and the possibility of junior tuition may also be available upon request.
Getting around: The school is close to several bus and train stations, ensuring travels to Barcelona, Sitges, Tarragona and further afield, can be made with ease. The closest bus stop to the school is around 350m from the school's front doors.
Methodology: The school uses a communicative and dynamic approach to teaching, following the basis of the language levels as set out by the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages). Students practise the four pillars of reading, listening, writing and speaking in all classes and shall constantly extend vocabulary and cultural knowledge.
