Location: EC English New York is located in the infamous, cosmopolitan city of New York, Westcoast, USA. The school is housed in Midtown Manhattan, within the Paramount Building, a 33-storey office building a few minutes from the Empire State Building, 5th Avenue, Times Square, the Rockefeller Center and an array of attractions. With the Times Square - 42 St Subway station just moments walk from the school's front doors, students have fantastic access to many of the city's main attractions such as Central Park, The Statue of Liberty, MOMA, Broadway and the Theatre District. Course selection: Course selection includes General English taught over various schedules and intensities, Academic semester or year programmes, and several courses for specific learning. For all students aged 30+, multiple courses such as English for Work, English in the City, and English + Dancing, are available in exclusive groups of like-aged peers, ensuring that all students find comfort and motivation within their learning environments. Immersive Junior Summer Camps or Day programmes are available throughout the summer months, allowing junior students to embrace the city safely. TOEFL Exam Preparation programmes are also available throughout the year.
School facilities: The facilities within EC New York are of a very high standard, offering everything a student may need to feel comfortable inside and outside of the classrooms. Classrooms are equipped with electronic whiteboards, air conditioning, heating and ample natural light to create an optimal learning environment. The school's facilities include a restaurant, a library and a lounge area, providing a comforting and motivational experience for all.

This course consists of General English lessons and English in the City lessons. These lessons are focused around learning more about the city you are learning English in. You will learn about the art and culture and focus on how the locals use the language. Depending on the available timetable, students enrolled in this course will be taken outside the classroom 1 or 2 times per week. There will be assessments throughout the course which take place both in the classroom and through assignments. Additionally, there will be 5 weekly progress tests, 5 weekly tutorials and an exit test. Students will receive a certificate on completion in recognition of the skills they have learnt.

This includes negotiations, management, HR, branding, promotional strategies, project management, business ethics, giving presentations, and preparing for interviews. “the first day is full of organizational stuff and not a learning/teaching day. So if you want to be correct, than thats not a full week of learning. The School is directly at the times square what involves a lot of benefits but it can be also super loud. I was there for 2 weeks and unfortunately especially in this time, there were no great activities for student (except one trip) - but i've heard, this was just a phase and isn't usual. ”
