English New Zealand recognises English language schools in New Zealand as well as abroad that have reached a high level of quality throughout their organisation.

Requirements English New Zealand member schools need to fulfill	To apply for membership, the schools must meet the following criteria before an inspection is organised: - be accredited by well established authorities, such as the Ministry of Education; - follow the regulations as stated by English New Zealand; - teach English as a Second Language for a minimun of 2 years either onshore or offshore. International establishments must be a member of their domestic equivalent to English New Zealand.
Complaint/arbitration procedure offered by English New Zealand	If a complaint against a member of English New Zealand cannot be settled internally, then the student can lodge their grievance to English New Zealand who will investigate the claim. If the student is still not satisfied with the resolution then government agencies can be contacted to take the matter further.
Any guarantees for students in case of bankruptcy of a language school associated with English New Zealand	To protect students in a case of bankrupcy, members of English New Zealand will have a Trust Account System or something similar, where students prepayments are protected.
