Verona ratings & opinions
How our students rated their experience in Verona
What our students said about Verona
Very beautiful with friendly people and so much to see, both in the city and nearby. We also travelled to Venice, Florence and the Dolomites, and Verona and the train system is perfect for that. So many excellent eating options as well in Verona.
Australia
Nice little town and everything within walking distance. Interesting historical sites from Roman to Renaissance. School provided a tour which was very informative (local professor) and enlightening. And of course there's the Arena.

A wonderful city! Everything I'm interested in is within walking distance - and an ambience that I - back home - miss a lot! There is so much to see, discover and taste. Great for shopping too - unbeatable for the "aperitivo"! :-)
Germany
I would happily return to Verona. Where I haven't rated the topics, it's because I didn't encounter them. I didn't rate public transportation, but did use the train on several occasions - it isn't part of Verona, however!
Verona suited me perfectly. There is lots of interesting history, plenty places to walk in nature, and no matter what time you're out and about, it feels completely safe. It is also aesthetically very pleasing.
Ireland
Wunderschöne Altstadt, aber ansonsten in einem Abwärtstrend, es wird viel gebettelt. Meist nette Einheimische. Busfahren ist super, man kommt für kleines Geld verlässlich und sicher überall hin.
Germany
Very beautiful city with many historical monuments and close to other cities and to Lake Garda. Unfortunately, however, it rained every day, which meant that the sidewalks were slippery.
Sweden
Fantastic location and great for taking public transport to other parts of Veneto- Venice, Lake Garda, Padova, Mantua etc. Never felt any sense of threat though almost always on my own
Ireland
Great city even away from the tourist highlights. As we were there at festival time, there were many concerts at various locations. Countless good restaurants, bars and gelaterias.
Germany
Verona is a safe and interesting city with plenty of historic landmarks and is a short train ride to many other interesting locations.
Australia
Very pleasant city, great that you can do everything within walking distance. And you quickly learn to avoid the touristy places.
Germany
Perfect to go study the Italian language. Locals are very friendly and willing to allow you to practice with them.
One week is enough, as the city is relatively small. A lot of tourists sometimes make it difficult to navigate.
Germany
There is so much to do that even doing something every day for 20 days it was not enough to visit everything.
Germany
I liked the city, but it doesn't offer the joie de vivre of the south, especially Sicily.
Germany
Always worth a trip. There is much to discover culturally. Everything is manageable.
Germany
Everything is within easy walking distance. Nice mix between culture and shopping.
Germany
Lovely. Not too big. A vivid and safe place. Very charming and fantastic places.
Germany
Beautiful city with a great historical centre and many museums and the opera!
Germany
Lovely town, walkable, many places of historical interest and natural beauty

Although I did not give 5 for all items I would chose the school again. No regrets. The owners are always there and interested in sharing ideas and tips. The teachers are excellent and make you feel comfortable with the learning process. Very broad range of extra activities. Excellent location.

The teachers are the best I've ever had (visited 5 language schools), the classes are very small, also the smallest I've ever had. Really very important! Returned one time already, may very well return again.
