The DELF certificate (Diplôme d'Etudes en Langue Française) and the DALF (Diplôme Approfondi en Langue Française) are the official qualification awarded by the French Ministry of Education. It proves French-language proficiency of candidates from outside France, and is recognised by employers and organisations in countries across the world. It may also be an entry requirement for universities in some French-speaking countries. There are four independent DELF diplomas, which correspond to the levels of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages from A1 to B2 and 2 DALF diplomas, which correspond to the levels of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages C1 and C2.
Exam practice concentrates on the 4 different parts of the test, which assesses your speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills.
DELF Exam Preparation

At EasyFrench, the Preparation Course for the DELF/DALF Exams offers specific training for learning about the methods to use for the different parts of the DELF exams (B1 and B2 levels) as well as the DALF C1. For this course, you will use a manual that is specifically designed to help you prepare for the DELF/DALF exam, and it will give you the chance to put yourself in real exam conditions because you will get to sit 2 mock exams. DELF/DALF Diploma course - Long-term Intensive French
Langue Onze Toulouse is an authorized examination centre by the education authorities for DELF / DALF French language diplomas.
By choosing the diploma course, you will attend an intensive French course during either 24 or 36 weeks to reach level B2 or C1 in French. Here, you will experience French life, linguistics and cultural immersion for 6 months to a year attaining a DELF/DALF French diploma which is valid for life.
The DELF (diploma in French language studies) is the benchmark diploma for French learners. It is designed to their level of competence in conjunction with CEFR levels. The last two levels (C1 and C2) are assessed by the DALF (Advanced Diploma in French Language). The DELF / DALF certification is valid for life (no expiry). To maximize your chances of success, the school offers preparation courses for these diplomas in French as a foreign language.

Overview
The French courses are taught by certified instructors who are all used to teaching French as a foreign language. The small student-to-instructor ratio encourages individualized instruction so that each student can improve rapidly according to their needs and desires. Particular emphasis on communication.
All the French courses are based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFRL).
Upon your arrival at school, on the first day, you will be given a written and oral placement test which will determine your group for the French lessons.
A certificate of attendance is delivered at the end of the session.
If you wish to, you can take the DELF exams at CILFA during the academic year at the end of your session in March, June and December.
Methodology The four skills (oral and written comprehension, oral and written productions) are taught in a balanced way while focusing on interactions, in particular during group work.
Numerous learning activities are offered: role play, debates, presentations, authentic French documents, songs, DVD excerpts, games, etc. Writing a diary is also encouraged, notably for levels A1 and A2.
Activities In addition to French lessons, enrich your experience of the French language and culture, by joining in a range of recreational, cultural and linguistic activities organized by the teachers.
These activities serve to enrich students’ classroom experience by giving them exposure to the surrounding attractions of Annecy. They provide new opportunities for students to practice their French language in various settings.

DELF Academic Year Course 3
3 DELF preparation lessons (A1 or A2 or B1 or B2).
CILFA offers its expertise in preparing you for the DELF exam for levels A1, A2, B1 and B2, from October to June, every Tuesday and Thursday from 18:15 to 19:45. All classes contain a maximum of only 12 people so that you can get the individual attention you need to be successful.
During the 3 weekly hours of class, you will have the opportunity to discuss the methodology of the DELF exams and to benefit from the advice from teachers who are themselves certified examiners and proofreaders of the DELF.

This course is aimed at all students, from basic to advanced, who are preparing for the DELF exam. The Diploma d’Etudes en Langue Française is an official diploma made up of standalone exams which exists for the four following levels of the Framework of Reference for Languages: (CEFRL): A1, A1, B1 and B2.
This course will enable you to learn the grammar, communicative competences and methodology for the relevant level of the diploma.
Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 12:20 (including a 20-minute break) The DELF is made up of general exam papers that assess CEFRL competencies, which have been the basis for all our syllabuses since 2001.
As such, students enrolled for the DELF are placed in classes that are open to students who are not studying for the exam. However, they regularly practice the written and oral papers of the DELF. The teaching department issues them with a written competency workbook. Their teacher corrects these regularly in order to track and check student progress.
This course includes intensive work in the form of regular mock exams used to assess progress in the four competences of the CEFRL (listening and reading comprehension, spoken and written production).
Tuesday to Friday from 14:00 to 16:00 For those who choose the 30-class course, in the afternoon, classes focus primarily on spoken production (guided discussion, role-play, interactive activities, expressing a point of view based on starter text etc.) and listening comprehension (messages, reports, radio clips etc.). Students are also familiarized with French culture and civilization in a relaxed atmosphere that is conducive to discussion and optimizes speaking.

The French school in France offers a DELF exam preparation course (French language diploma) and a DALF exam preparation course (advanced French language diploma) for teens. The diplomas that make up the DELF and the DALF are completely independent from one another. Thus, the candidate, depending on his level, can register directly for the exam of their choice. The French courses for the DELF and DALF exams consist of the standard French course combined with specializes exam preparation courses. These French courses guarantee you will both improve your language and cultural skills thanks to the French language immersion programs. You will receive support the whole way through your French course for juniors and benefit from French training to practice for all parts of the exam you wish to sit during your French language stay at our French immersion school in France. ILA trains around 150 students per year for the B1, B2, C1 exams. The success rate was 95% last year.
Course description The DELF / DALF exam preparation course for teenagers gives you the chance to practice intensively for all parts of the DELF and DALF exams. It complements everything you learn during the standard French course by giving you tips and techniques for methods needed to sit the exam. The standard French course provides the foundations for improving your general French, for example, grammar, lexical skills and phonetics. You also get to familiarize yourself with French culture and customs. French language immersion helps you to progress and gives you the confidence you need to speak.
The standard French course is organized around the 4 skills recommended by the CEFRL (Common European Framework of reference for languages): writing and speaking as well as reading and listening comprehension. During the DELF / DALF exam preparation courses for teens, you will be able to evaluate your own level and prepare effectively for the exam. You will be guided by a qualified teacher who will be able to advise you and help you practice as much as possible. There is a right balance between method and practice.
To practice for the DELF and DALF exam, even after school at home, the French school in Montpellier uses specialized manuals with exercises and corrections to help you prepare for the DELF / DALF exams. You will sit 2 mock exams so as to put yourself in real exam conditions; one will be at the beginning and the other at the end of the French course so that you will be able to see the progress you have made. DELF/DALF Diploma course - Long term Intensive French
Langue Onze Toulouse is an authorized examination centre by the education authorities for DELF / DALF French language diplomas.
By choosing diploma course, you will attend an intensive French course during either 24 or 36 weeks to reach level B2 or C1 in French. Here, you will experience French life, linguistics and cultural immersion for 6 months to a year attaining a DELF/DALF French diploma which is valid for life.
The DELF (diploma in French language studies) is the benchmark diploma for French learners. It is designed to their level of competence in conjunction with CEFR levels. The last two levels (C1 and C2) are assessed by the DALF (Advanced Diploma in French Language). The DELF / DALF certification is valid for life (no expiry). To maximize your chances of success, the school offers preparation courses for these diplomas in French as a foreign language.
DELF / DALF Exam Preparation
The course includes a general French course and exam preparation lessons every week.
You develop all your skills to progress in French: listening comprehension, oral production, oral interaction, reading comprehension, written production, etc.
LSF is not an exam centre for DELF/DALF, exams will be made at an exam centre in Montpellier.

The exams Diplome d´Etude de Langue Francaise / DELF and Diplome Approfondi de Langue Francaise / DALF are the most relevant language tests for French. The exams are organized by the French ministry of education. The DELF exam consists of 6 parts. After passing the first 4 you receive the first degree and after passing the last two you receive the second degree. The DALF exam is based on the DELF exam and is needed if you want to study at a French university. Within the relaunch of this exam during 2005 it is possible to pass every of these steps as an independent certificate. It is not longer necessary to pass them in a row.
